Blissfully Unaware
Heads up - This has been updated since it was rated at the end of the Game Jam. You can find the original as a windows download at the bottom of the page.
Play with your mouse by moving objects in the levels!
[Left Mouse Button] = Grab object
[R] = Reset level
[S] = Skip level
[ESC] = Pause Menu
You take charge in making sure nothing goes wrong for a new player as they stumble their way through the levels of a platformer. Frantically modify the environment around them to ensure their first playing experience doesn't leave bad memories!
- Rotating platform - The platform doesn't rotate by itself, you need to find another way...
- Boss fight Stage 1 - Move the lasers out of the way since they fire quickly. Then, you need to hold the bombs close to the core to deal damage.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO PLAYED MY GAME! I could never have imagined the turnout, and I am eternally grateful to all of you! I make games because I love seeing how people can take an environment and produce so many unique and awesome ways to explore it. I am so happy that I am able to make something that other people can enjoy! Thank you again to everyone who played my game in the jam or is playing it now. You are what motivate me to keep following this passion. - 0FreshBean
This game was made in a week for the 2025.1 Brackeys Game Jam.
Within 48 hours after the submission time ended, I fixed general bugs as well as issues from porting to Web. Version 1.1.11 is the latest version before submission closed.
Bugs fixed:
- UI completely disappearing when pressing fullscreen before the game starts
- Voice lines playing immediately when entering levels
- UI overlapping and going off the screen on some resolutions
- Bouncy platform spawn particle playing when a collision occurs
- Bouncy platform spawning inside player
- Bouncy platform sound being too low-pitched
- Voice text not fully displaying before level end
- Cursor being massive and blocking content on non-fullscreen mode
I have never made a complete pixel art game, and have little experience with 2D games on Unity. This is my first game jam. Thank you very much for taking the time to play, and all feedback is appreciated!
After the rating period ends I will:
- Fix the boss fight... (make it easier, less random / janky, more intuitive)
- Ramp up the intensity a bit quicker
- Make object hitboxes bigger (this would also help mobile players!)

OK, this one is officially my favorite. Well done.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it
I loved how user friendly it was! I never felt like I was being overly punished for my mistakes, making each failure into a fun and quick learning experience! The boss fight did feel a bit underwhelming - I wanted to work more with everything I learned throughout the game!
Thanks for the feedback! The boss fight is the first thing I'm going to change
Earned rank dawg! that was an insane entry! GG
Haha thanks!!!
Wow, my favorite game of this jam, please make it a real game afterwards.
Really fun gameplay, the theme is insanely good, the visuals are really great, I love how polished is the game. The physics feels fantastic, the sound design is very qualitative aswell. I love how the chains sound, really satisfying.
You did a fan ta stic job.
Thank you so much! I am so happy you like it! There is no doubt I will continue to work on it lol... The chain sound is my favorite sound as well!
Mechanics, art and graphics. It was one hell of a game. Well done completing a game like this in just one week. It was very fun.
Also last level was very fun but it wasn't hard. Like the box guys death didn't pose a threat to gameplay. Still, it's the best game from jam submissions I have played so far. I hope you'll win.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I see what you mean, and I have thought about it before. I will try to make deaths more significant somehow after rating ends.
game was great visuals and puzzle solving were fantastic. boss fight did drag a bit though
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you, and will definitely change it after the rating period ends.
I loved it! So nicee omg!! Loved the visuals and the boss fight!! you did a great job here my friend.
Thanks very much!
